Parents of Young Children (POYC)
Parents of Young Children (POYC) is a new ministry and service at Sts. Joachim and Ann Parish this year. POYC seeks to provide an opportunity for parishioners, whose children are not yet school-aged, to get to know others in the Parish who are at a similar point in life. POYC seeks to provide parents of children aged birth to five an opportunity to share faith, to support one another in choosing and developing Christian family life, and to socialize.

SCOPE OF SERVICE
Parents Of Young Children activities include gatherings for moms, dads, and families. Children are welcome and encouraged for the majority of meetings. POYC has a monthly Weekday Morning Meeting, a monthly Family Activity, periodic Couple's Outings, periodic Play Dates and other activities. The group is always looking for new ideas and involvement in planning and facilitating events. Please feel free to contact us with your thoughts or to volunteer your time.
UPCOMING EVENTS
Weekday Morning Meeting
Wednesday, November 4th - 10:00 am - Parents and little ones, join us in room 109 of the Junior High building for a social and spiritual gathering. We will provide toys and snacks for the kids and conversation for parents.
November Family Potluck
Saturday, November 14th - 11:00 am - Enjoy a meal and social time with other families with young children. We will provide the main dish and each family will bring a side dish. Kids can enjoy free run of the school cafeteria and a few activities or crafts.
December Cookie Exchange
Saturday, December 12th 10:00 am - Celebrate the delicious tastes of the holidays with a cookie exchange. Each family will bring a few dozen cookies to share and all will go home with a yummy collection of goodies.
