Mission Statement:

We, the Ministers of Hospitality (ushers and greeters) of Saints Joachim & Ann Parish believe we fulfill the goal of the Parish at each Mass by greeting and assisting in seating those who come for worship, by gathering our community Offering of the stewardship of our treasure, and by joining our Parish Family in prayer.

Usher's Duties

·         Greet and welcome

·         Arrange bearers of Offertory gifts

·         Seating

·         Place “Reserved” signs on benches for special groups

·         Assist in passing the collection baskets

·         Help the Communion flow

·         Assist those who become ill or need aid

·         Distribute bulletins

·         After Mass area check

o    Lift kneelers

o    Replace song books

o    Remove trash and other items

o    Close windows and lock (after last Mass)

o    Turn out lights (after last Mass)
